Calaveras County moves to orange tier

April 20 Calaveras County was moved to the orange tier (moderate risk level). This means that some businesses and activities can open with modifications. Restrictions on businesses that were already opened have lessened in many instances. As the county opens up further, Calaveras Public Health urges caution and encourages people to take the necessary steps to prevent being exposed to the virus and get vaccinated to help the county continue to open further.
