Called to order: 18:15 by Sloane Dell’Orto, President
Members present: Sloane Dell’Orto, Heather Willats, Mark David Ksenzulak, Michelle Roeber. A quorum is present. Guest present: Zach Leslie.
Previous Meeting Minutes: Minutes from September 2007 meeting read by Mark David (H is tired). Motion to approve the minutes as read Heather Willats, 2nd Michelle Roeber. Unanimous.
Treasurer’s Report: Mark could not get onto the bank website to verify current numbers, so we’re going with last months numbers. Checking: $7,534.41, Savings: $ 3,836.15, 12mo CD $10,508.53, 6mo CD $5,120.92 Total = $27,000.01.
Motion to approve the treasures report, Heather Willats, 2nd. Michelle. Unanimous.
Old Business:
Mike and Sloane met with the Chief and agreed to spend the previously agreed upon $6,000 on drysuits, electric mirrors for the engines and a cascade air system for SCBA’s.
New Business: Mark David – Suggests moving the funds for Oktoberfest to equipment and training budget item to use in a way that better suits the department. Discussion that followed explored other possible categories as well; and any reassignment of those funds require a 3 meeting vote. Motion by Mark David, to approve reassignment of $500 to the “Other fundraising” category, 2nd Heather Willats. Unanimous.
Sloane – Jason Price provided our trauma/extrication training to us free of charge. Usually runs about $250 per person. Would like to do something nice for him as a thank you. Motion to approve $100 gift certificate, Mark David. 2nd Michelle Roeber. Unanimous.
Next meeting to be held at Wendell’s on October 17th.
