Called to order: 18:12 by Sloane Dell’Orto, President
Members present: Mark David Ksenzulak, Heather Willats, Michelle Roeber, Stephanie Truelsen, Brenda Brown, Debbie Shore, Mike Dell’Orto, Sloane Dell’Orto, Megan Harris. A quorum is present.
Previous Meeting Minutes: Minutes from February 2008 meeting read by Heather Willats. Motion to approve the minutes as read Mark David, 2nd Brenda Shore. Unanimous.
Treasurer’s Report: Checking: $9,553.28, Savings: $ 3,840.01, 12mo CD $10,888.52, 6mo CD $5,205.53. Total = $29,487.34.
The Fireman’s Ball Treats bill arrived. Motion to approve payment of Treats bill for $483.58, Megan Harris, 2nd Stephanie Truelsen. Unanimous.
Discussed the 6mo CD and decided to leave it where it is for the next 6 months because interest rates are very low at the moment.
RE: Mary Wilborn stock. Discussion ensued and Mike Dell’Orto suggested that we wait until we have the stock until making a decision as to whether or not to cash it in. Motion to rescind previous action relative to stock and revisit after we have it Mike Dell’Orto, 2nd Mark David. Unanimous
Motion to approve treasures report Brenda Brown, 2nd Stephanie Truelsen. Unanimous.
2008/2009 budget was discussed. Motion to approve the 2008/2009 budget and all attachments Mike Dell’Orto, 2nd Debbie Shore. Unanimous.
Old Business: Playground equip: The Veterans probably won’t do equipment because of liability. Perhaps we can get a bench in memory of Deirdre, or some sort of water feature, plaque, or new construction of water fountain. Motion to approve formation of committee to decide how to better spend the $$ in D’s honor. Mark David, 2nd Heather Willats. Committee: Mark, Heather, Megan, Brenda, Michelle, and anybody else who wants to join.
The card and cash were mailed to the Stantons as discussed at last months meeting.
FB update: Discuss price of tickets. Debate over keeping at current price which was set to maybe keep undesirables from coming in or dropping to get more folks in the door. Didn’t really come to an agreement at this time. Decision was made that this issue would be decided by FB Committee when it is formed next year.
New Business:
Committee to work on constitution revision was formed: Mark, Michelle, Sloane, Mike, Debbie and Stephanie will head that up.
