Called to order: 18:15 by Sloane Dell’Orto, President
Members present: Mark David Ksenzulak, Heather Willats, Michelle Roeber, Stephanie Truelsen, Sloane, Dell’Orto, Mike Dell’Orto, Mike Moran, Lila Serros, Brenda Brown, Debbie Shore, Lynn Greer, Chat Soule. A quorum is present.
New Member (s): Pauli Greer, Kathy Dell’Orto and Allison Tesch (rejoining) and paid dues.
Previous Meeting Minutes: Minutes from May 2008 meeting read by Heather Willats. Motion to approve the minutes as read with the correction of Stephanie’s name, Mark David, 2nd Mike Moran. Unanimous.
Treasurer’s Report: Checking: $ 9,714.28, Savings: $3,851.60, 12mo CD: $10,953.02, 6mo CD $5,231.12. Total $29,750.02. No bills to pay at this time. Motion to approve treasurers report as read Heather Willats, 2nd Mike Dell’Orto. Unanimous.
Old Business: 3rd and final vote on moving funds for station improvements took place, a unanimous vote. Chat will re-price the trees and irrigation supplies and get back to us with what he needs.
The check from Mary Wilborn arrived in the amount of $3,811.15. Believe the MH Trust made the decision for all groups to cash in the stock. Given to the treasurer for deposit. Heather will get $615.00 out of training funds. Found meeting minutes from Jan 2007 where motion was made.
New Business: Celeste would like to purchase arts and crafts supplies for the kids activities in the park on the 4th. She will put on her credit card and get reimbursed. Motion to approve up to $100.00 Stephanie Truelsen, 2nd Debbie Shore. Unanimous
Mark David mailed off the liquor license for the 4th. Needs reimbursement for $26.05 Motion to approve Heather Willats, 2nd Brenda Brown. Unanimous.
Michelle would like to buy association coolers to be used for beverages during our 3 events. Mark D can divide the cost out of the Fireman’s Ball. 4th of July and Appreciation event budget items since we would use for all 3 of them. Motion to approve of to $150.00 Mike Dell’Orto, 2nd Debbie Shore. Unanimous.
Sloane mentioned that she spoke with Pat Ross at the Calaveras Co. Sheriff and they are doing the deputy trading cards again. And looking for sponsors. $195 sponsors one deputy and purchases their cars. Motion to spend out of community relations budget item Brenda Brown, 2nd Heather Willats. Unanimous. Also, Heather going to see if we can pick the deputy. Sloane resigned as president. New vote occurred. With new vote, current officers as of 6/18/08 are:
