Called to order: 18:11 by Heather Willats, Secretary
Members present: Mark David Ksenzulak, Heather Willats, Michelle Roeber, Mike Moran, Lynne Greer, Stephanie Truelsen, Brenda Brown, Debbie Shore, Sloane Dell’Orto, Mike Dell’Orto arrive after a fire call.
A quorum is present.
New member: Megan Harris joined, paid $1.00 dues
Previous Meeting Minutes: Minutes from December 2007 meeting read by Mark David. Motion to approve the minutes as read Michelle Roeber, 2nd Mark David. Unanimous.
Treasurer’s Report: Checking: $7,615.61, Savings: $ 3,840.01, 12mo CD $10,760.82, 6mo CD $5,163.05. Total = $27,379.49.
Mark David needs to do some follow up on the 6mo CD. Thinks it is up at the end of March, will give us an update next month.
Reimbursements necessary: $64.85 to Debbie for FB decorations, M. Dell’Orto liquor license $29.90. Motion to approve the treasures report and the payment of all bills by Michelle Roeber; 2nd Mike Moran. Unanimous.
Mary Wilborn donated $5000 to all the organizations in town again. This year she donated stock. Motion to approve cashing in the stocks and converting to CD’s by Debbie Shore, 2nd Stephanie Truelsen. Unanimous.
Old Business: Playground equipment, discuss if anyone has any time maybe they could start looking into. Vets must hold liability insurance on the equipment. Deirdre and Des went to vets meeting last year, maybe someone can start approaching them with that again. They meet the 3rd Tuesday at 7:30…the more the better.
$$ for Mike Stanton. Need Sloane to follow up on that. Sloane to get cash soon.
Oktoberfest $$ will be moved to other fundraisers now that final vote has been approved.
FB update: Seems a lot of people turned around at the door because they thought tickets were sort of high. Discussed dropping it back down to $10.00 since people come in and spend money on drinks and auction etc.
New Business: Payment of all outstanding membership dues: Heather, Michelle, Stephanie, Sloane, Mike Dell’Orto. Budget meeting to occur next month, Mark David needs updated info on training $$ for that.
Mike Moran, summer, perhaps the appreciation event at his house this year! Next Meeting pick a date.
Mark David wonders where old amendments are? Heather has one on PC from changing of location and hours.
