Called to order: 1815 by Michelle Roeber, President
Members present: Michelle Roeber, Mark David Ksenzulak, Heather Willats, Mike Moran, Lila Serros, Stephanie Truelsen, Brenda Brown, Allison Tesch. Quorum is present.
Previous Meeting Minutes: Minutes from June 2009 read by H Willats. Motion to approve minutes as read Mark David Ksenzulak, 2nd by Brenda Brown. A unanimous vote.
Treasurer’s Report: Checking: $7,140.77, Savings : $3,848.11, 6 mo cd: $5,314.15, 12 mo cd: $11,188.81. Total: $27,491.85. Motion to approve treasurer’s report as read by Heather Willats, 2nd by Stephanie Truelsen. A unanimous vote.
Old Business: Brenda is donating the cost of the rolls and watermelon from the 4th, just would like a receipt for her taxes. Thanks Brenda!!
Need to order a few more t-shirts as we ran out of x-large on the 4th and people still want to order. Michelle is going to order a few extra and put at Moke Hill Nuts to sell to tourists as well.
New Business: Chief would like to use some of the $$ we donate to the firehouse to pay for part time firefighters.
Discussed moving the appreciation event to later in the year. Everyone is still exhausted from the 4th. Discuss perhaps turning it into a Christmas dinner event instead.
Need to get lawyer to assist in getting non profit paper work in order and help file the 501c3. Stephanie will get us some names of attorneys.
