If firefighting is a bit too hot for your liking, but you'd still like to be a part of our department, join the Mokelumne Hill Volunteer Firefighters' Association!
The MHVFA is a group of individuals dedicated to supporting our firefighters and our community. The Association handles all fundraising efforts, and supports the firefighters and community in many other ways as well. We use the funds we raise to purchase specialty training for firefighters and EMTs, and to purchase equipment and gear. We also support, either financially or with volunteer labor, local residents who might be in need due to injury or loss.
We elect new officers each year in December.
2008 Officers:
President, Michelle Roeber
Vice President, Mike Dell'Orto
Treasurer, Mark David Ksenzulak
Secretary, Heather Willats
Additional members: Sloane Dell'Orto, Kathy Dell'Orto, Chat Soule, Brenda Brown, Polly Greer, Lynne Greer, Megan Harris, Mike Moran, Lila Serros, Debbie Shore, Stephanie Truelsen and Allison Valiquette.

Join us!
Whatever your skills or interests, we can find a way to put them to work for a very good cause. Some of the things the Association does:
Fundraising events | Annual "firefighter" t-shirts | Firefighter support - training |
Firefighter support - equipment | Community support - at other fundraisers | Citizen support - financial aid in emergencies | Citizen support - other support (we've built wheelchair ramps, fences, etc!)
Our meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm. They are typically held at Wendell's, but check the calendar to be sure.
For more information, contact the Association or call Sloane Dell'Orto at (209) 286-1213.
